The good folks at The Holler and Stomp Collective are bringing my friends The Howling Brothers to the Mercy Lounge tonight, April 12. The show will begin at 7:30 with an introduction to Square Dancing and then The Hog Slop String Band will provide live music for a full blown hootenany from 8-9pm. The Brothers will take the stage at 9 to do one set and then the Square dancin’ and live music will continue. I have the honor of taking the stage with these great muscians tonight and am proud to be included on their upcoming c.d. on Readymade Records produced by Brendan Benson, frontman for the Raconteurs. A great time will be had by all!
